The Refugee Crisis Society is a multilingual non-profit organization dedicated to addressing issues that affect refugees and asylum seekers in the course of their settlement and integration into Canadian society. Our work is guided by our vision of equality, social justice, equal access, and democracy. Our tools are advocacy, public education, community development, coalition building, and bridging with the broader community.

• Our role must be to provide additional services, which refugee communities, or other voluntary or statutory services, cannot provide as well as or better than ourselves.

Our mission

We believe asylum seekers and refugees should be treated with understanding and respect. Our services aim to reflect this and include:

• providing legal and humanitarian aids to asylum seekers and refugees;
• offering support to asylum seekers and refugees to help them rebuild their lives;
• offering training and employment courses to enable asylum seekers and refugees to use their skills and qualifications
